In a recent parent-teacher conference, the teacher expressed concern that your child may have a problem with certain speech or language skills. Or perhaps while talking to your child, you noticed an occasional stutter. Could your child have a problem? And if so, what should you do?

It's wise to intervene quickly. An evaluation by a certified speech-language pathologist can help determine if your child is having difficulties.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy incorporates meaningful and purposeful occupation to enable people with limitations or impairments to participate in everyday life.

 

Medek Therapy

Medek therapy focuses on training movements that lead to sitting, standing, and walking. Muscles are trained for tasks, not in isolated movements.

Sensory Integration

A child swings on a tire and tosses balls through a hoop. The play may seem ordinary enough, but in the jargon of occupational therapists, these activities are known as sensory integration therapy.
