A child who may display difficulties in any of the following areas:
- Obtaining developmental milestones
e.g.: motor, social, cognitive
- Muscle tone
e.g.: strength, range of movement and movement patterns
- Gross motor skills
e.g.: balance, coordination, posture, activity tolerance, clumsiness
- Fine motor skills
e.g.: printing, handwriting, cutting, manipulation skills, bilateral hand use, lack of hand preference
- Perception
e.g.: puzzles, mazes, reading, eye-hand coordination
- Cognitive skills
e.g.: memory, sequencing, organization, concentration, attention
- Sensation
e.g.: tolerating changes in movement, oversensitivity to heights, touch, smell, noise
- Feeding and dressing
e.g. use of utensils, clothing fasteners
