Summer Camp

Register for Our Developmental Summer Camp

Does your child have challenges with:

Handwriting?
Sensory processing?
Sensory regulation?
Social skills?
Gross and fine motor skills?

Throughout July and August, York Paediatric Therapy Services Inc runs developmental summer camps and the surrounding areas. Whether your child has sensory, physical or cognitive issues, we can tailor the camp to meet their specific needs. All of our camps are led by registered occupational therapists, assistants and volunteers at a camper/staff ratio of 4:1 to help improve your child’s success and development.

Our Kids Camp Philosophy

At York Paediatric Therapy Services Inc, we know camp is all about summer fun! So we have created a variety of summer camp experiences that will focus on various aspects of your child’s development and needs. Our aim is to provide each child with a memorable and unique experience that achieves personal success and independence.

We incorporate a multi-sensory approach to teaching printing or writing, physical activities, arts and crafts, and gross and fine motor activities. The implementation of sensory integrative techniques and use of “zones” as well as co-operative activities will help to foster the awareness of how to regulate oneself in different social situations.

Theme days, age appropriate activities and life skills are an integral part of the program, and we offer many helpful hints for home and school.

Camp Size and Staffing

Groups are based on a 4:1 student-to-staff ratio. The staff members are certified occupational therapists with extensive paediatric experience. The camps run throughout July and August.
